With the boot camp classes I am finally able to enjoy strength training. It is a fun atmosphere, the workouts vary each week and I am working muscles that I have never used before. I tried my first Gaia Fit Boot Camp class in October and I was immediately hooked!
I have been a runner my whole life and adding strength training into my fitness routine always felt like a chore.
I was never a fan of lifting weights at the gym and I always seemed to put strength training last on my priority list. With the boot camp classes I am finally able to enjoy strength training. It is a fun atmosphere, the workouts vary each week and I am working muscles that I have never used before. I am currently training for a half marathon and adding boot camp classes has been a great complement to my training. My running has improved and I feel stronger then ever! Mandy and Mary are incredible instructors and you get an amazing workout every class!

I am a Physical Therapist and always thought I knew just what to do to stay in shape-- until-- I herniated a lumbar disc last summer and ended up doing minimal exercises just to maintain my core strength. After months of trying to exercise and not seeing any improvement in my pain or function AND my husband repeatedly telling me that I just needed to rest, I tried resting. That didn't help either. I was in the worst shape of my life and I felt that my core was so weak that my back was doing all of the work. I needed something to whip me back into shape so a friend and I decided to try the Gaia Fit boot camp.
At first, when I heard the word " burpee", I thought I would never be able to get back up off the ground.
Within the first week I felt so much better. After going consistently 3 times a week, it got better and easier and I started to not fear the burpee... so much that I won the burpee challenge for most improved. Mary is great. She pushes us, but always monitoring our form. I have recommended her boot camp to many friends and patients.
