The balance of physical and mental strength is my passion. I have been practicing yoga for 5 years and received my 200hr teacher training under Kelly Moore through Mission yoga. For me, yoga is the perfect balance to other forms of fitness training and through it I have found physical strength and compassion for myself. I am very interested in holistic nutrition and the connections we make with certain foods. I enjoy finding the balance between Charleston's delicious indulgences and innovative ways to create healthy, vegetable based meals at home. When I'm not in the yoga studio or the kitchen I love teaching barre at Barre Evolution and you can find my husband and I making waves on the wakeboard or hiking in Asheville.
Gaia Fit Yoga: Mindful Vinyasa Flow
A vinyasa flow practice with a focus towards mindfulness and alignment. This is a yoga class that will focus on strengthening the outer body through heat building poses and creating flexibility through longer holds of seated postures. Using the body to create balance in strength, coordination, and enhanced cardiovascular health, as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being. Your body will become much more strong and flexible by doing yoga, and so will your mind.
