I considered myself to be a healthy body weight most of my life. I started running my sophmore year in college (after I gained the freshman 10) and loved it. I could eat anything I wanted and never worried with dieting! Fast forward fifteen years and the birth of my two children 16 months apart. I was a stay at home mom and I no longer had time to work out. I tried on and off to work out but there was no consistency in my life. I did manage to do the nordick track fairly regularly as time went on, but that wasn't a full body workout. But it was the best I could do. Finally, this past spring my neighbor told me about a Gaia Fit boot camp that was starting in our neighborhood. I couldn't imagine getting up at 5:30am for a 6:00 workout!! No way!! With much encouragement from my 17 year old daughter & my neighbor I said I would give it a try. Now eight months later I feel much stronger, I don't think twice about rolling out of bed at 5:30am, I eat healthier, and I workout at home on our off workout days! I have more energy, I've dropped two dress sizes and am once again happy with my body weight!! It's never too late to take control and I am so glad I did!!
